With real ability and an excellent reputation as an interior designer in Western Australia, Lisa and her husband Ian run their own interior design business, Venina Interior. She has completed 3 personal renovations and has designed over 100 kitchens and 30 bathrooms. She also has her real estate agents license so she is armed, dangerous and licensed – licensed to sell!
Lisa renovated her current home which now includes a pool, a putting green, an organic vegetable garden and a ‘boys’ room’ in the rear garden. “I want people to feel comfortable in my home, to sit down and enjoy my sofa, have a coffee, but if they want champagne, darling, they should have that too!”
STRENGTHS
Flamboyant and creative with an excellent sense of design, Lisa loves bringing vibrancy and colour to a space. She also flies the eco-warrior flag - recycles, encourages sustainability and grows all her own vegetables which, although not always useful in renovating, taste great!
Can wear heels and renovate at the same time.
WEAKNESSES
With such an impeccable appearance, it may come as no surprise to hear that Lisa’s not so keen on the dirty work such as building works, wallpapering and gyprocking.

Lisa prides herself on her baking skills and absolutely loves baking, high teas and dinner parties. She has a special apron she wears and often spends days at a time cooking and baking in the kitchen for her family, clients and guests. So if things don’t work out on The Renovators, maybe we’ll see her on Masterchef 2012.
